There will always be charlatans and wolves and false teachers in this world, trying to get you to cross over the bridge of compromise and join them. From the beginning of time, there has been a LIE and a TRUTH available for ALL to choose. But time is running out, and there is only One way, One truth, One choice…. to save you from an eternal darkness you cannot see or fathom. What you choose in this lifetime will determine your eternal destination. It is the most important decision you will ever make. Will you be saved?

Question: “How can I be saved?”

Answer: This simple, yet profound, question is the most important question that can be asked. “How can I be saved?” deals with where we will spend eternity after our lives in this world are over. There is no more important issue than our eternal destiny. Thankfully, the Bible is abundantly clear on how a person can be saved. The Philippian jailer asked Paul and Silas, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” (Acts 16:30). Paul and Silas responded, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved” (Acts 16:31).

How can I be saved? Why do I need to be saved?
We are all infected with sin (Romans 3:23). We are born with sin (Psalm 51:5), and we all personally choose to sin (Ecclesiastes 7:20; 1 John 1:8). Sin is what makes us unsaved. Sin is what separates us from God. Sin is what has us on the path to eternal destruction.

How can I be saved? Saved from what?
Because of our sin, we all deserve death (Romans 6:23). While the physical consequence of sin is physical death, that is not the only kind of death that results from sin. All sin is ultimately committed against an eternal and infinite God (Psalm 51:4). Because of that, the just penalty for our sin is also eternal and infinite. What we need to be saved from is eternal destruction (Matthew 25:46; Revelation 20:15).

A blogger at The Last Hiker has done some research and found a few unsettling facts about the beliefs of one of the producers of last year’s television event called “The Bible Series” and the new “Son of God” movie. Anyone assuming that Jesus Christ will be accurately portrayed in this new movie needs to consider that producer Roma Downey has been on television with psychic Jonathan Edwards talking to her deceased mother, partnered with him in a book he wrote, and listens to books on tape by new ager Eckart Tolle.

Read about it here:

The “Son of God” Movie Is NOT What We Think–Do You Know The Voice of Your Master

Even so, America’s favourite pastor Rick Warren has partnered with LifeWay Christian Resources to put together a “Son of God” movie Bible study[1] and is buying out entire theatres to show this film, saying, “I want every other faith leader in America to do the same. Whether you can buy out a whole theater, or just one screen, now is the time to show up.”[2] These other ‘faith leaders’ include T.D. Jakes, Joel Osteen, Pat Robertson, Bill Hybels, Leith Anderson, Erwin McManus, Paula White, Christine Caine, George Wood, Crai Groeshel and some Roman Catholic cardinals and archbishops.[3]

Be careful whose voice calls you to cross the faith bridge to see the new Son of God. They may be leading you to another Jesus.

Miley Cyrus’ Jesus

In early January 2014, Miley Cyrus turned to her Instagram account to let everyone know about Jesus! Don’t get too excited though; it is actually to tell others what they should believe about Jesus. Here are the words from the picture that was posted:

“Jesus was a radical nonviolent revolutionary who hung around with lepers hookers and crooks; wasn’t American and never spoke English; was anti-wealth, anti-death penalty anti-public prayer (M 6:5); but was never anti-gay, never mentioned abortion or birth control, never called the poor lazy, never justified torture, who never fought for tax cuts for the wealthiest Nazarenes, never asked a Leper for copay; and was a long-haired brown-skinned homeless community-organizing anti-slut-shaming middle eastern Jew.”

This is another Jesus than the Jesus of the Bible. Read more at Cup of Joe:

The Bridge

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. 1 Corinthians 1:18

Clearly, the cross of Jesus Christ is the only bridge to eternal life…

Did you know Jesus was a Palestinian? Neither did he. That hasn’t stopped the enemies of the Christians’ Prince of Peace from attempting to use him for diabolical political purposes.

What began as a clever propaganda ploy by Yasser Arafat—as part of his lifelong attempt to erase Jewish history—has been picked up by American evangelicals. That Jesus of Nazareth was born and lived as a Jew is an obvious historical fact, just as, for example, Robert E. Lee commanding the Army of Northern Virginia during the Civil War. The background of Jesus Christ, however, inarguably the most famous person in history, is of great importance. His life as a Jew is increasingly being called into question by Muslims, who are working overtime to open “interfaith dialogue” channels with American Christian leaders.

Luther College faculty member admits it will ‘be a stretch’ for some

A professor at an Iowa college says as a Christian, he has to say that Jesus was a Muslim.

Ignoring the historical timeline in which Jesus taught some 2,000 years ago in the Middle East and the advent of Islam is dated six centuries later, after Christianity had impacted much of the known globe, Robert F. Shedinger, who wrote “Was Jesus a Muslim?” said his research convinced him of Jesus as aligning in thought with Islam.
